Baslay is practically located at Dauin Negros Oriental. It's their hot sulfuric spring that made the trip so worth it! It wasn't easy reaching that place unless you use offroad motorcycles, the road wasn't as good as I have expected, although they say the place was a lil bit developed. After reaching the destination, we'll have to go down a 300plus stairway steps  and whalahhh.. Hot sulfuric spring here we come! the easy part actually was the going down part! the most breathtaking part was when headed home (which was undeniably tiring.) had to put salonpas all over my legs during my hospital duty the next day. Had muscle pains all over my legs, couldn't even bend my knees! wheew!!! I look like an incapacitated sick person! lol... well that's all for now.. Have to run ...tah tah!!!  ^^

Maskara Festival 2010

We've been to Bacolod City Negros Oriental last October 15 and 16, 2010 to witness the famous Maskara festival. It was my very first time to have witness such a wonderful event! Super wow!!! I saw Tons of different colored costumes on the street worn by grade schoolers and high schoolers. Oct 15 was the school category parade (which we had seen.) Unfortunately, we weren't able to see the barangay category the next day coz we had to leave. The pictures where taken by Paulbrett Orozco and me during the street parade. the last picture is my fave! some say his the living legend of Bacolod. More than 8years ago, a couple of friends has seen this cigarette vendor in the streets of Bacolod  (covered with colorful body-paint) during the event. They say he never miss a year doing this. so cute.. ^_^ wish to see him again next year. :)
